In October you’ll join a close-knit, specialist team dedicated to preventing and combating financial crime. Financial crime is complex and serious. Often, it funds a wide range of criminal activities that put people’s lives at risk every day, including terrorist activities, human trafficking and arms dealing. So, this is a great opportunity to put your detective skills to good use and make a positive impact on the world at the same time.
You’ll be based at our head office in Milton Keynes.

Every Santander apprenticeship scheme is different. Some last 12 months, others take up to four years. Some lead to a level 3 qualification, while others are on par with a degree.
However, every apprenticeship scheme offers you:
Almost everyone. If you’ve left school at 16 with GCSEs, an entry-level apprenticeship could be perfect. If you have A-levels, a higher or degree-level apprenticeship could be more your thing. We even have graduates doing them. They offer an excellent training in business, and there’s no upper age limit to becoming an apprentice.
Apprenticeships are all the rage these days, and with good reason. They offer you the chance to get paid and gain an industry-recognised qualification at the same time. And unlike university, there are no tuition fees to pay, so no scary debts to worry about.
But it’s not just about money. With a Santander apprenticeship, you get training that’s second to none. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals, developing real-world skills alongside your classroom training. You put theory into practice every day.
With each apprenticeship, we have a dedicated training provider to help you learn and get qualified. You could be learning though online courses, classroom sessions or a mixture of both. You’ll also have unlimited access to our own online learning portal, which provides training on a diverse range of subjects.
And the real beauty of an apprenticeship is you’re treated like every other Santander employee. You’re on a proper contract with us and get all the perks that come with full employment, including:
While there’s a Santander branch in pretty much every town across the country, most of our opportunities are located in the operational hubs listed below.
However, due to the current Covid situation, we’re continuing to work from home across the business. Of course, we’re looking forward to the situation changing, at which point you will begin working from a specific location. Please check the role that you’re applying for to find out where that location’s likely to be.
We sometimes have opportunities at other locations, including Bootle in Liverpool, so keep a look out for these.
